The Volvo XC40 Recharge was one of the first premium electric SUVs to gain real traction in NZ, and the earliest cars are now old enough that battery replacement questions are starting to come up. Here's what it actually costs and what's involved.

Full new OEM pack replacement is harder to justify economically on an older car unless it's still relatively low-mileage or has sentimental/practical value that outweighs the numbers.
